Heineken N.V. – head office

--:--

We are standing at the headquarters of Heineken N.V. — the nerve centre of one of the Netherlands’ most famous companies. From here, brand strategy and innovation are directed, and the decisions made within these walls ripple out to cafés, festivals, and supermarkets around the world.

Yet the company’s connection to Amsterdam and the Netherlands remains tangible. Just a few streets away lies the old brewery on the Stadhouderskade, where it all began. Large-scale production now takes place in Zoeterwoude, a modern facility where craftsmanship and chemistry meet — yeast, malt, water, and hops combined on a massive scale. Heineken is both a public and a family company. Through Heineken Holding, the founding family stays closely involved. Charlene de Carvalho-Heineken, heir to the founder, is often cited as one of the wealthiest women in the Netherlands. Day-to-day operations are managed by an international executive team led by the CEO.
