Église Saint-Julien le Pauvre

Église Saint-Julien-le-Pauvre, one of the city’s oldest churches, dates from the twelfth century. The building is Romanesque in style and has a modest interior with Byzantine frescoes.

Since the nineteenth century, it has been used by the Melkite Greek Catholic community. Its location among bookstores, universities, and cafes reflects the intellectual character of the neighborhood.
