Maison Européenne de la Photographie

The Maison Européenne de la Photographie (MEP), in the heart of Paris, is the city’s main hub for modern photography. Step into a beautiful mansion from 1706, where classical details meet contemporary architecture.

The MEP hosts major exhibitions, film screenings, a library with 24,000 books, and a café under historic vaults. The collection includes over 20,000 works, focusing on contemporary photography and video from the latter half of the 20th century and beyond. 

There’s a special restoration studio for Paris’s photo collections. Each year, new exhibitions highlight leading artists and current themes in photography.
