Musée Baccarat

The Musée Baccarat is located in Paris’s 16th arrondissement and showcases Baccarat glass art. Under King Louis XV, a glass factory was established in that region. Today the museum is housed in the Noailles Mansion, a private residence filled with art, music and historic grandeur.

It displays thousands of crystal pieces, created by renowned artisans. Designed by Philippe Starck, the space bridges historical craftsmanship and modern design. It also doubles as the Cristal Room Baccarat restaurant, housed in the former ballroom, where you dine surrounded by glass creations. Baccarat crystal is globally recognized as a luxury commodity.

That reputation made the museum a destination for affluent collectors seeking pieces for their décor. There’s also a boutique offering fine crystal souvenirs. Admission is € 10 per person, free for under eighteen. The museum is closed on Sundays, Mondays and national holidays in France.
