Musée Maillol

The Musée Maillol in Paris’s 7th arrondissement displays sculptures, paintings and prints by Aristide Maillol, founded in 1955 by his model Dina Vierny. Maillol died in 1944 and is known for classical simplicity and emphasis on the human body in his work.

Visitors encounter iconic pieces like La Méditerranée and L'Action enchaînée, alongside lesser-known paintings and drawings. A charming café offers a moment of pause, and educational workshops and guided tours provide deeper insight. The museum is open daily from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
