Rodin Museum

The Musée Rodin is housed in the elegant Hôtel Biron in Paris, dedicated to sculptor Auguste Rodin’s work. The museum displays Rodin’s sculptures, drawings, and other pieces and is located in his former residence, which he donated to the French state in exchange for preserving his legacy.

The early eighteenth‑century mansion previously hosted artists such as Cocteau and Rainer Maria Rilke. Officially designated as the Musée Rodin in 1919, it features landmarks including The Thinker and The Kiss, as well as rotating exhibitions linking Rodin with his contemporaries and contemporary art.

Visitors also encounter works by Monet and Van Gogh, such as Belle‑Île and Père Tanguy, complementing Rodin’s body of work. A visit includes time in the garden overlooking the studio façade.
