UNESCO’s headquarters sits on Place de Fontenoy in Paris’s 7th arrondissement, surrounded by greenery and embassies. Founded in 1945, the organization promotes peace through education, culture, and communication.

The complex comprises four Y‑shaped buildings designed by Zehrfuss and Nervi, including a meditation space from 1995 featuring granite slabs from Hiroshima. Visitors can take guided tours or join online if they’re not in Paris. Its museum-like atmosphere invites exploration of global issues in a serene setting.
