Dutch Photo Museum

On the Wilhelminakade, in the iconic Las Palmas building, you'll find the Nederlands Fotomuseum. Since moving there on April 19, 2007—doubling its previous exhibition space—it now offers state-of-the-art public facilities and the most advanced photo archive in the Netherlands.

The museum’s collection is extensive: over 5.6 million negatives, slides, and prints that reflect the full spectrum of Dutch photography. From early glass negatives and daguerreotypes to digital photo projects, reportages, advertising, and scientific photography—it’s all housed here. The museum also manages the archives and copyright of 175 Dutch photographers.
