Gare Saint‑Lazare in Paris’s 10th arrondissement is one of the busiest and oldest stations in Paris. Built in eighteen thirty‑seven with classic nineteenth‑century architecture and a clock tower, it feels as though you’re standing just outside a historic government building. About half a million people pass through the station daily. Inside is a full shopping center—surprising inside such a former train terminal.

Claude Monet painted the station in eighteen seventy‑seven, capturing platforms filled with smoke and steel support beams, highlighting the industrial grandeur of the era. Whether you’re traveling through or observing from outside—you can feel the energy of transport and culture intertwining.
