In Paris’s 15th arrondissement sits Le Ballon de Paris Generali, the world’s largest helium balloon—but from just outside you can feel steel cables humming against your skin. Since nineteen ninety‑nine it ascends to thirty‑two meters offering panoramic views over Paris—green spaces, skyscrapers and even the Eiffel Tower if you’re sharp‑eyed.

The balloon monitors air quality and ozone levels—science meets adventure. Tickets cost twenty euros per person, children up to age three ride free. Weather-dependent flights require live site checks. Boarding is at Javel‑André‑Citroën (Line 10) or Balard (Line 8) metro stations. Whether you ride or wait—can you feel the thrill of ascent and observation?
